We would like to congratulate PelletCo's long standing customer, Paul Temple, on winning the Mixed Farmer of the Year Farmers Weekly Award.
Paul is not only a valued PelletCo customer, but also a valued ambassador for the agriculture industry by being involved with various industry bodies such as the NFU, EU Cereals and Global Farmer Network.
Paul won this prestigious award for his strong business management skills as well as his drive towards conservation agriculture practices. He has made the strategic move to cut his input chemical and machinery use to promote soil health and cut production costs, whilst maintaining impressive cereal yields. Showing that high costs don’t necessarily result in high rewards.
Paul further promotes the environment by entering his farm into a Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, where he opens up his farm to schools and colleges.
He also uses PelletCo's high quality ENplus A1 wood pellets for all his farms heating requirements making sure his business as sustainable as possible.
